R+L Carriers Opens New Florida Service Center
10/27/2025 - Wilmington, Ohio - Ohio-based transportation company R+L Carriers is pleased to announce the opening of a new service center in Milton, Florida (PEN). Officially designated the "Pensacola" terminal, this facility will replace the previous Milton location, moving operations just over two miles to the east.
Located at 5795 Jeff Ates Road, the PEN service center boasts 118 dock doors, a five-bay maintenance shop, three-lane fuel island and 5,000 square feet of office space. It is well-positioned to deliver freight along the U.S. Route 90 corridor, serving as an important transport hub connecting Florida and Texas markets. The facility will also ship to customers in multiple surrounding locales, including Gulf Shores, Crestview, Destin and Panama City Beach, among other destinations. In addition to Pensacola, R+L Carriers maintains active Florida service centers in Ft. Myers, Jacksonville, Lakeland, Miami, Ocala, Tallahassee and Ft. Pierce.
